Good morning. Gosh, I did not mean to sleep away the morning, but I did. The oxygen guy showed up at eight o'clock last night with another machine. This one is not a new one but it is a bit smaller than the one he took out of here, and not so noisy.
I settled in last night to watch the Master Chef Junior Finale and fell asleep a little more than half way into it. Now I have to see if I can find it with On Demand. I've watched these little kids cook their hearts out all these weeks and now I want to know how it ended up. ( I just called my daughter Audrey to find out who won.)
Yesterday, I took some food out for the birds and noticed a pretty light orchid flower on the ground. Oh my, the Emperor Tree has sprouted blossoms and I did not even see it coming. The blossoms are beautiful, but they don't last very long.
I remember years ago when I planted this tree. It was just a little twig, and people kept either walking on it or driving over it. I finally had to put a piece of green wire fencing around it to protect it. It was only about a foot tall, if that. Once it started to grow, it just kept on going.
My pink rose tree is covered with tiny pink buds. It only had a couple buds before Bobby trimmed all the dead twigs off it, and now it is getting thick with buds.
It does my heart so good to be able to look out and see these beautiful colors. There are buds on the red rose bush and the white rose bush, so I'm hoping to get photos of these soon. Meanwhile, while I'm out taking these photos, my little Pogo is keeping an eye on me through the porch gate.
When I go to the other side of the house, I take Pogo with me. He can't see me on that side of the house from the porch and he gets nervous. I can't believe that he's been with me for almost seven whole years! July will make seven joy filled years. And I want more, lots more.
I think Pogo and I will take some nice cold water and go sit out on the porch. It is really quite nice out there right now. Maybe I'll take the new laptop out there and play a bit on it. We'll see. Or maybe I'll just crochet. It's 77F degrees out there, with temps headed for the mid eighties. There's also a nice little breeze to keep it comfy.
Well, that's my news for today. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.
