Good Morning Again Blog World

I had just sat down to write a post this morning when the power went out. So, I got out the laptop and the Verizon card....just barely had a signal for some reason with the card. Damn. Just as I was getting ready to call Verizon and tell them to stick that high dollar card (60 bucks a month and used only when I have no power at home or else on the road and I am not on the road much any more) the power came back on.

But it ain't my day...just as got a post about finished the damn security came on with an update...shut down the browser and I had to wait for the update. Well, now I am back but sweetthing says we gotta go to the library...I told her she was just gonna have to wait and she says my lunch will be late...heh. Told her I twern't hungry anyway...which is a damn lie. This fucking rabbit food diet I am on keeps me hungry enough to eat the south end of a north bound jack rabbit. (I think Tommy treerat knows it...he hasn't got within twenty feet of me the last couple of days.)

But of course the spin is things are looking better. The irony is that the fucking media was telling us how bad it was under the GOP when unemployment was under six percent...now it is damn near ten and they try to spin a rosy picture.

There was only ONE thing wrong about those F-111s hitting Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi's tents...they didn't get the sumbitch. But he has kept his mouth shut up until now and I reckon the only reason he has found the guts to say a damn thing bad about the US of A is that he knows Obama is on HIS side. I'm not sure what to make of 'em stripping Miss California of her title. Now I understand that they (who the fuck is they) were upset about Miss California stripped...and didn't think much of her ideas about gay marriage. But then, most of them ( who the fuck is them) are left wingers and left wingers figure free speech is just for them...

But in any event I suspect the former Miss California got more publicity by speaking her piece than she would have if she had just sang Kum Ba Ya and talked about world peace. Hell, she will probably get a cable news seat on Fox. ( Did ya ever notice that damn near all of those good looking news girls on Fox are blonds? At least someone has taught them to read the teleprompter...

What drives a person to have so much hate that they open fire on a Museum guard? Why is it that some can't get through their think heads that when shot every damn one of us bleed RED no matter what our skin color or our racial or religious background. There are some reasons for hate I reckon...but to hate a race or religion just because it is a race or religion is senseless.

Hell, I don't even HATE Obama although I do hate his politics and figure he is a no good two bit commie who has some commie handlers who figure they can use him to destroy American capitalism. But I can't hate a man for being fucking stupid...

I am an avid supporter of the right of free speech. I disagree with most of what I hear on the news and what I read on a lot of the blogs. But I spent over twenty two years of my life dedicated to protect the right of those I disagree with to say their piece.

I think I know what the problem really is...we have become a society of fucking wussies.We get insulted and bitch slap someone and they lock us up for assault and battery...and the sue us. Whatever happened to the day when one could say their piece but had best be able to back it up? Remember that line from the duke..."You better smile when you say that, pilgrim." That senator from Georgia, what was his name, Zell Miller maybe...my memory is shot..., had a point when he told that fucking news commentator that he wished that duals were still legal.

The point is that James W. von Brunn, the 88 year old asshole who shot up the museum,
was an avowed racist and anti-semite. Back in the days when duals were legal he would either of had to put up or shut the fuck up and no doubt someone would have shut him up....yeah, duals made a much politer society...and I kinda think a safer one.

Sweetthing says if I don't get up and take her to the library she is gonna drive herself...I gotta go...my Red Ram is in danger. Y'all come, heah?
